I step into the deep end
without testing the water.
Loosen my grip.
Let the road choose its own direction.
This is a new season,
quiet but unruly,
where calm wears a wild face
and nothing stays contained.

Blue forms stretch and break,
drifting wide through open ground.
What I am not changing, I am choosing.
To live closer to the marrow,
to take the wilder side without apology.
Stillness hums with motion here,
and the road keeps going
long after I stop trying to name it.
